1. What is Mosaic?

We believe that Mosaic students are not only those searching for a more meaningful education, but are a higher caliber of learner. A learner who is willing to focus not on the grade, not on the credit, but on interest-based natural learning. One who wishes to take control, and invent their education.

2. How does Grades/Credit Work in Mosaic?

There are no grades. You receive credit for work that you have showed mastery in. One of the biggest problems students in Mosaic have is the curation and display of their work. That is what this portfolio is meant to help accomplish.

3. What do You do All Day?

We work on whatever we feel we need to accomplish. Google calendar is a helpful tool to stay on task, especially with meetings. For example, during first period tomorrow I might finish my biotech lab report. Then during advisement, I plan on getting feedback on this website. During second period, its AP Human Geography in Spanish time. Then we have a break for lunch, and back at it with AP US history for third and Psychology during fourth.
