World Affairs Challenge
In engineering, we built RedBots and used Arduino to code. It was the most fun I had in traditional school since AP Human Geography (which was taught in a non-tradational way).

Spanish
Folder contaning some of my work with Spanish in Mosaic. It was extrememly difficult to accomplish Spanish in a non-traditional setting until we found a way to combine it with AP Human Geography.
The Turnip
We started a satirical newspaper in Mosaic to highlight issues we thought were important.
Project Citizen
We found a law or issue that we wanted to change, and went throught the necessary steps as a model to learn about the government.
I was interested in the NSA and its capacity for gaining information, so I researched and then presented to the community in a TED-Talk style.

Free Tibet
We had planned a walk to raise awareness for Tibet that would coincide with the Dali Lama arriving in Boulder. (He cancelled his trip to Boulder so the walk was also cancelled)
Freshman year hummanities. Unforutantely, Mosaic was not offered my Freshman year. We learned about conflict, the world, and genocide.

When Mosaic started, we were just in 3 traditional classrooms. Teams were commissoned to re-design the space, and our team won.

Unit 1 Math 4
For unit 1 of Math 4, we tried to do things electronically. After one unit we changed our system.
One of my favorite classes ever. We learned about conflict, population, resoures, geography, etc.
AP Human Geography
F Pod Design
A group of engineering and mosaic students were selected to work with professional architects and create a new wing.
AP Human Geography In Spanish
My friend and I always wanted to talk about AP Human Geography in Spanish, so we decieded to create a modified AP Human Geo course to teach Spanish students.
Make a Short Film!
We were given a day to make a short film - film, edit, sound design, etc. It could be about anything, but had to be at least one minuite. We created a satire on popular misconceptions of Mosaic.
Upcycling Project
One of the intro projects for this year was an upycling project, where we took a bunch of old items to make something new. We created a lamp out of an old oil lamp. Our original idea was to use a globe as the shade, but the project deadline was one day so we didn't have enough time.

Serial Bolt
As part of a mini-lesson, we listened to the Serial season one podcast and then created our own podcast discussing the information.

As part of AP Lit and Lang, I have developed my skills as a writer through rhetorical anayalsis.
